- The Alexandria Campus was established in 1965. It served as the main campus and administrative headquarters for CLTCC until 2019, when the administrative and main campus were relocated to downtown Alexandria. It is easily accessible by the Alexandria Bus Transit System. Commercial Vehicle Operator, Heavy Equipment Operator, and Line Worker trainings are offered at the Alexandria MacArthur Extension Campus.
- In 2019, the Alexandria Campus relocated to downtown Alexandria at the corner of Jackson Street and 5th Street (across from Emmanuel Baptist Church).

- The MacArthur Extension Campus hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters. During the summer, the campus operates on a four-day work-week schedule. Faculty and staff work four 10-hour days, Monday - Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Central Louisiana Technical Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees.
