Course Description
- Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) are healthcare professionals who provide hands-on healthcare to patients in medical settings under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. They assist patients with bathing, dressing and any other basic activities involved in daily life. CNAs work closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers. They may work in nursing homes, home health care services, and hospitals.
Eligibility Requirements
- 16 years old
- Must pass background check and drug screen
Class Details
- 5 weeks of instruction, 1 week of supervised clinicals
- 8am-2:30pm Monday-Friday for day classes
- 4:30pm-9pm Monday-Friday for evening classes
