Vision

CLTCC aspires to produce knowledgeable, skilled, and confident citizens to contribute to the sustainability of the local, state, and national economy through effective academic and technical education skills. The college will increase its offerings of rapid, flexible, and innovative training and instruction to address changing workforce needs. CLTCC strives to increase community awareness of the educational opportunities offered and the importance of educational resources available through community outreach. CLTCC endeavors to increase access for students, develop cooperatives with local business and industry, and improve the effectiveness and accountability of leadership via integrated operations.

Statement of Goals for Student Achievement

Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC) measures student achievement annually as part of its ongoing, integrated, institutional effectiveness process for evaluating how well it is achieving its mission. These efforts result in measures of student achievement that demonstrate the institution’s compliance with accreditation standards, and its commitment to meeting the performance indicators monitored by the Louisiana State Board of Regents.

CLTCC has four student achievement goals. Each of the four goals is presented below to include the target, measure, outcome, and evaluation. Learn More

Driving Growth, Opportunity, and Impact

CLTCC is proud to play a leading role in transforming Central Louisiana through education, workforce training, and economic development. Thanks to consistent growth and a strong commitment to quality instruction, the college continues to expand its impact across the region.

Over the past three consecutive semesters, CLTCC has seen double-digit growth in student enrollment. In fact, from the 2023–2024 academic year to 2024–2025, enrollment increased by 12%, bringing the total student headcount to 1,693. This steady growth shows the trust our community places in CLTCC, and the real value students see in their education here. More information can be found here regarding Student Achievement and Student Outcomes. For even more information, access the United States Department of Education’s College Navigator webpage.

One standout example: CLTCC recently graduated a record-breaking 400 students from its Allied Health programs in just 400 days. This milestone highlights how CLTCC is helping meet real workforce needs in healthcare and beyond.

CLTCC has also excelled in Louisiana Community and Technical College System’s Reaching Prosperity by 2030 initiative. This bold statewide plan aims to graduate 330,000 individuals by 2030 and ensure they earn, on average, 150% of the state’s median income.

In recent years, a majority of CLTCC’s completers were rated as levels 4 and 5 in areas that the Louisiana Workforce Commission designated Star Jobs.  Star Jobs is a ranking system of LWC that ranks the significance of jobs according to high-wage, high-demand jobs in Louisiana.
