Central Louisiana Technical Community College

Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC) will host its first Honors Convocation on Sunday, April 13, 2013, at 4 p.m. in the Coughlin Saunders Performing Arts Center to recognize the academic achievements of students, including those on the Chancellor’s List, Dean’s List and Honor’s List.

CLTCC will begin adult education classes for Central Louisiana residents at two of the seven college campuses throughout the region on August 29. Persons interested in the program should click the link below for additional information.
After a thorough review process of Requests for Property (RFP) Proposals, the LCTCS Facilities Corporation, a private nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization, has selected the Downtown Alexandria Now proposal as best suited for the new Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC) Main Campus. Downtown Alexandria Now and LSU Alexandria submitted proposals.

Industry focus: Manufacturing

Central Louisiana Technical Community College is partnering with a number of stakeholders to create a Manufacturing Center of Excellence. This center will focus on Industrial Manufacturing, inclusive of Automation and Controls, Industrial Maintenance, Machine Tool Technology, and Instrumentation and Electronics. Instruction will be offered online and in-person with emphasis on a technology-enhanced curriculum that encourages blended education. Programs will be offered through credit and noncredit formats, allowing for increased opportunities for competency-based learning. Credit students will be able to earn certificates, diplomas, an Associate's degree and potentially a Bachelor's degree. Click
